The United States international faces increased competition in the creativity department at Signal Iduna Park, with England winger Sancho returning to Germany on loan from Premier League giants Manchester United.

It has been suggested, with game time already in short supply, that the presence of Sancho could edge Reyna towards the exits during the January transfer window. He does not appear to be giving much thought to that for now, with Sancho enjoying a warm welcome back to the BVB dressing room.

Reyna was among the first to embrace Sancho, alongside club captain Marco Reus, with a friendly “what’s up man” comment aimed in the 23-year-old winger’s direction. There certainly appears to be no tension in the camp at present.
